Bay-Houston Towing announced today the signing of a definitive agreement to purchase Seabulk Towing Services, Inc. from Seabulk Towing Holdings Inc. a subsidiary of Seacor Holdings Inc. Upon closing of the transaction, Bay-Houston will acquire all of Seabulk’s operations in Port Arthur, Texas, and Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Bay-Houston Towing Co. using ABS class notated LOW EMISSION VESSEL’s to dock the Zhen Hua 29. LOW EMISSION VESSEL (US) notations certify the tug’s low emission profile meets strict gaseous and particulate emission limits. The ship is carrying the new neo-Panamax ship to shore cranes at Port Houston’s Bayport wharf 6. The cranes are an impressive 158 feet tall equipped to work 15,000 TEU ships utilizing electric motors, gears, and control systems emitting zero diesel emissions. Bay-Houston Towing owns seven LOW EMISSION VESSEL’S and is currently building two more. Bay-Houston continues to invest today to align with our customers and industry stakeholders values and visions for the future.
